Pedn Olva is a cherished hotel renowned for its stunning outlook across St Ives Bay to the harbour and out to sea. It sits proudly on granite rocks on the southern shore of the town, with the sea only thirty feet below. A fine collection of sea-facing windows capture the ever-changing vista that’s frequented by passing fishing boats. The restaurant, complete with bar and sun-drenched terraces, is

a dreamy spot for taking it all in. Sit beside the open fire and indulge in a menu crafted from fresh, local produce. You could spot dolphins and seals, or the thrill of a winter storm during the colder months. The bar also serves barista coffee and a hand-selected range of wines. Pedn Olva hosts 30 distinctive bedrooms with contemporary interiors and spectacular views. What’s more, some are dog-friendly. There’s even an outdoor heated swimming pool for that extra layer of luxury.

We get asked a lot if you can bring your four-legged friends to The Pedn Olva and the answer is of course! 🐶🤍

Dogs are welcome on all our terraces and in our bar areas, so there’s no need to leave your best friend at home.

We even have a little dog station with fresh water and biscuits for our furry guests. 🦴💦

Because everyone deserves a day by the sea, paws and all! 🌊🐾

Real life or a painting? 🎨🌊

Sometimes sitting in Hester’s Pedn Olva it can feel like you’ve stepped straight into a painting. The beautiful views over St Ives Bay, the changing light, and the boats drifting by, it’s pretty special. 🤍

And this September, St Ives is celebrating its creative side once again with the St Ives September Festival of Music and the Arts.

With a rich history dating back to 1978, the festival brings music, art, culture and entertainment to the town, making September one of our favourite times to be in St Ives.

Come and soak it all up, perhaps with a drink in hand and this view in front of you. 🍻🎶🎨
