The restriction excludes Porthminster Beach this weekend (15-17th May) for St Ives Food and Drink Festival. The landowner at Porthminster Beach has kindly made an allowance for responsible dog owners attending the festival. Please note, all dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, with no exceptions.
Please beware: there are enforcement officers working in the town who can issue a fixed penalty notice of £100 for a breach of these restrictions.
St Ives Town Council asks that Dog Owners please respect others, our beaches and town by:
🐾 Clearing up after your dog
🐾 Walking your dog at low tide and on the sand that will be cleaned by the sea
🐾 Keeping your dog on its lead at all times
Dog Friendly Beaches are:
🐾 Lambeth Walk
🐾 Bamaluz Beach
🐾 North side of Smeaton’s Pier (with Level Access)
If you notice incidences of dogs on beaches during the restrictions or dog fouling please report it to Cornwall Council by emailing [email protected] with dates, location, times
