Think lazy mornings, long walks along the coast and evenings curled up by the fire. With its gorgeous vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and plenty of space for everyone to get together, it's a cottage that feels especially lovely at this time of year.

Fancy a few days by the sea this Christmas?
There’s something rather lovely about St Ives at Christmas.

The town is a little quieter, the Christmas lights are twinkling around the harbour and there’s time for long coastal walks, lazy lunches and wandering around the shops without the summer crowds.

If you’re thinking about spending Christmas by the sea we still have some stunning properties available, from larger houses where everyone can get together, to smaller cosy cottages and apartments that are just perfect for two.

Christmas Day in St Ives has its own little traditions too. One of our favourites is heading down to The Sloop for a Christmas Day drink by the harbour, before retreating back to a cosy cottage for the afternoon. On Boxing Day there’s the traditional annual dip on Porthminster beach enjoyed by visitors and locals alike, whether you’re brave enough to join in or would rather watch from the beach!

A cosy October escape at Figgy Cottage.

We have some availability at Figgy Cottage this October, with short stays available too.

16th–23rd October

This charming little cottage is perfect for two and your four-legged friend, with a private enclosed garden, parking and beautiful Porthminster Beach just a short walk away.

We recently received this lovely review from a guest who stayed with Duffy the dog. 🐾

This summer in St Ives has given us so many days like this. 💙

Blue skies, clear seas and long days on the beach, but really, it’s the time spent together that makes a St Ives holiday special.

Everyone together, sandy feet, swims in the sea, beach games that go on until sunset, family BBQs and nowhere you particularly need to be.

And while this summer may be drawing to a close, it’s rather nice to have another one to look forward to.
