17th Century Coaching Inn, boasting 21 individually styled en-suites rooms, one of which is our Beatles Suite were the fab four (The Beatles) stayed while filming ‘Help’ on Salisbury Plain. We are the closest hotel to the Stonehenge ancient monument and are located in Amesbury, the oldest UK settlement - just a 10 minute drive from the medieval city of Salisbury and a 45 minute train journey from

London. The Hotel has a beautifully appointed restaurant specialising in Thai Cuisine, traditional bar with a welcoming open fire - serving a wide selection of real ales alongside an extensive wine list. Our large rose garden is open year round and the hotel has played host to a number of memorable occasions, including the filming of the the british TV series 'Miss Marple'. We offer a variety of function areas for hire, including a marquee and can cater for events up to 200 people.
