🍂 A wonderful summer at Ty Merlyn Saundersfoot, and we are looking forward to autumn! 🍂

We’ve had such a lovely summer at Ty Merlyn, welcoming wonderful guests, receiving fantastic reviews and seeing many repeat visitors return. ❤️

We’re now fully booked until mid-October, and Christmas week is booked too 🎄 — but we still have availability for a New Year short break. 🥂🌊

And now we’re coming into my absolute favourite time of year to enjoy Ty Merlyn… 🍁

The weather is still lovely, but the summer crowds have gone. Cooler evenings approaching, red and golden leaves, cosy pubs, quieter beaches and peaceful coastal walks make Saundersfoot especially special at this time of year. It’s perfect for for a walk along the beach or coast path, stopping at a cosy pub, then heading back to Ty Merlyn to relax. 🥰

Although I might have a soft spot for autumn, Saundersfoot really is wonderful all year round. ❤️

This beautiful spot in Wales has been named the best 'seaside town in the UK' - and it's not hard to see why 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿❤️

With its 'most gorgeous beach of any British seaside resort' and 'exceptional views", Saundersfoot has been crowned top of the list for Time Out's 16 best UK seaside towns to visit this year.

The Pembrokeshire gem has been praised by the website for being an "energetic village" and having one of the country's "best looking beaches."

It said: "In the height of summer, Saundersfoot’s compact parade of surf shops, bistros and pubs is constantly abuzz," adding: "I would also argue that Saundersfoot has one of the most gorgeous beaches of any British seaside resort.

"The blonde (Blue Flag-designated) stretch directly in front of the village is where most visitors hang, but a short stroll east brings you to the slightly quieter Coppet Hall Beach, framed by rock pools and tree-covered headlands."
