A charming self catering cottage for rent on a small island in the Outer Hebrides. One of last remaining wildernesses in the UK.

To find out more click: www.stromecottage.co.uk Strome Cottage is built of stone, partly roughcast with a slate roof. It can comfortably accommodate 4 to 5 people, 6 at a pinch. Children and animals are welcome. The cottage is reached by a short footpath which is uneven in places.

We’ve just had a last-minute cancellation, which means Strome Cottage is now available from tonight, 19th September, right through to 3rd October! 🍂

And because we know not everyone can get away for two weeks, short stays are very welcome and we can be flexible with changeover days.

We’ve been making a few little updates at Strome Cottage this spring — including brand new vinyl flooring in the kitchen, bathroom, and first-floor landing, freshening up the space while keeping its simple Hebridean charm 🌊

And for the very first time… electric heaters in the bedrooms! 🔥
Perfect for taking the chill off those cooler island mornings and making things extra cosy after a day exploring Harris and Scalpay.
