"North Bay Beach is significantly more tranquil and an ideal place to unwind or enjoy a stroll with a camera, with numerous rock pools and charming period beach huts to discover - all set against a backdrop of stunning hills and cliffs" .

No wonder our guests love our location overlooking the peaceful and picturesque North Bay but with shops and restaurants just a short walk away.

Our last two sets of guests have had mixed weather but tell us they had a lovely time anyway. Here's to a sunny and happy Summer of Scarborough holidays! ☀️🌊.

Did you know about Scarborough's link to the ill-fated Titanic?

It's one of the many fascinating facts you might learn about on the Sea Wall Heritage Trail as you walk along the Marine Drive from North to South Bay. .

A beautiful stroll taking in the peaceful North Bay, vast expanses of sea (with some dolphins if you're lucky!) and the hustle and bustle of the harbour, amusements and eateries of the South Bay.

The Sea Wall Heritage Trail , opened in 2022 has added a whole new element to our all time favourite walk: you can learn about the rich history of our town from the 31 granite "portholes".
