URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT

Unfortunately due to the weather forecast for tomorrow, we have had to make the difficult decision to close for the day (Sunday 25th October).

This is certainly not ideal but we need to put our visitors, volunteers and donkeys safety and well-being first, by keeping them tucked up and dry.

We are worried financially to close - as you know we rely 100% on visitors, adoptions and the cafe to keep our centre running. But we have to do what is in the best interest of everyone’s safety, including our animals.

We have a £900 hay bill due this coming week for our donkeys and now have no funds to pay for it.

We feel terrible having to ask but if anyone would be able to support our donkeys feed bill, it would be so greatly appreciated!

Our details for Bank Transfer details are:
The Wonkey Donkey Visitors Centre
Account number: 50270687
Sort code: 40-18-00

Thank you so much for your continued support! 🫏🙏

What an absolutely Epic afternoon…if you haven’t seen or booked Mike & Charlie…they are worth every penny.

Honestly…thank you so much from all of us here at Your Ivanhoe, staff & patrons…you were like electricity through this beautiful building.

I fell in love with her with the first step inside her door, today and everyday passed we’ve remained positive and brought her (I believe) back to life.

She deserves it.

I named her ‘Your Ivanhoe’…I/we, wanted to give you back your Community nest…so with 1 week left now….from us to you, thank you so much, it has been an exceptional journey and we hope that you have enjoyed it as much as we have 🫶🏼

Sincerely…with love

Sarah, Kirsty, Eddie,Jonny & co x
