OMG this is so beautiful! For weeks I’ve been worried that the female duck has fallen prey to a predator but all that time she’s been missing she’s been on a nest and has produced 2 sweet little ducklings!
Thank you to my current guests for the photo, I’ve not been lucky enough to see them myself yet.
So proud, we diverted a spring to make this pond and now we’ve got babies 💗🐣

Unbelievable! I’ve waited and waited and waited for these sheep to have their lambs. Like since March. I go away for 36hrs to The Royal Highland Show and 2 of the 3 decide to have their babies once I’m not here!

Wow. I need to up my prices! We are staying in a premier inn tonight, and it’s cost over £300 for one room for the night! No parking, no fire pit, no fresh coffee, only shower gel - no other toiletries, one towel each, no robes….

Wow. I actually offer exceptional value for money and I don’t shout about it enough!

Gorgeous evening tonight with a colourful sunset, and so lucky to catch sight of this young deer grazing!
Today we’ve seen
Pheasant, squirrels, rabbits, deer, ducks and sheep & lambs (obvs 😆)
Yesterday morning there were 3 young deer - we just love seeing them! 💗 🦌

Help! I need advice!!

The little uninvited Basta**s are trying to ruin me!!

How close we could’ve come to having a major disaster down here!

During changeover the other day I smelt gas… Q panic stations! I literally had the gas landlord safety inspection done three weeks ago, I’ve not even had the invoice yet!
I went out with my washing up liquid and water to trace the leak and found that bloody SQUIRRELS had chewed my brand spanking, cost a lot of money gas pipes!
So, I’m all for welcoming wildlife down here but the squirrels can do one. They nearly blew the whole gaff to kingdom come!
Temporary wire mesh in place and pipes coated with chilli sauce until I can find a permanent solution to protect the pipes
What I need to know now though is what is squirrel proof?!
