It's Going to be an Absolute Belter of a Weekend. With lashings of Hot Sun and Blue Skies, not to mention some Great Live Music from The Kooks, Garbage & Skunk Anansie, what more could be better, well perhaps Home-Made Cake. With a large number of our lovely guests giving out high praise and recommendations for a charming little place called Jam Jar Wine & Pinball Loungewe felt compelled to go and try it out and our lovely guests were not wrong.

Jam Jar Wine & Pinball Lounge is a small, informal wine bar where wine, Beer and Cocktail lovers can easily enjoy opening interesting bottles, serving with little more than charcuterie and nibbles.

What’s nice is we found Jam Jar Wine & Pinball Lounge to be so approachable and offered a more casual form of service than some wine bar predecessors, you could just wander in and not feel alienated at all and this is certainly backed up by the addition of a Pinball & Arcade Lounge, which is actually a really nice, quirky touch.

We sat there, shared a few different bottles of exquisite wine, had a few small plates of charcuterie nibbles, and we just thought to ourselves, ‘We love this'

In these difficult times through cost of living, the Jam Jar is a place where you can spend what you like, you can choose to have a glass of wine, or a beer, or some charcuterie treats, and unlike a restaurant, there is no commitment to an entire menu price.

The good-lighting, colours and decor make the Jam Jar a cosy place to linger, with a number of craft taps and a sizable selection of cans and bottles and not to mention the wine, which rotate regularly.

There is certainly no doubting the quality of the beer, particular the exceptional wine, nor the sincerity of the owners Jim and Dina, who always enthusiastically offer recommendations for the next few rounds.

We really hope that it finds its Groove as it’s a fabulous addition to Scarborough. This is a real gem of a place and a must place to visit when in Scarborough.

It’s Only the Great Man Himself, Paul Weller playing at the Fabulous Open Air Theatre, just down the road from us, with it going to be A Long Hot Summer and Paul Weller being here, me and Debbie are feeling all inspired and have Created some Gourmet Home-Made Jams, Jams that you can Shout To the Top about.

So Hot Damn, This is Our Jam – Strawberry & Truffle Honey Jam – Sweet Chilli, Bacon & Chorizo Jam, what a great way to Start the morning. Don’t Worry Be Jammy
