Abel's Harp

Abel's Harp Licensed Country Side Wedding Venue With Accommodation and Glamping With Amazing Views In An Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Children are also very welcome.

We are a Bar, Restaurant and small Country Chic Rural Retreat in the Shropshire Hills. We take our name from the Mary Webb novel 'Gone to Earth' which is largely based around Bromlow Callow, where we are situated. We have a great bar with real ales with an open fire, a restaurant that serves delicious home cooked, locally sourced breakfast, lunch, dinner & afternoon tea, as well as serving homemad

e cakes all day. We have our own gift shop, gallery and even some lovely on site farm animals. We have individually designed hotel rooms, all are ensuite and come with TV's, DVD players, Roberts Revival digital radios, iPod docking stations, complimentary toiletries, tea, coffee & biscuits, handmade soap, brandy, robes & slippers. We have two dog friendly bedrooms and furry friends are also welcome in our bar as long as their owners are well behaved! The inn has an interesting history, as well as being mentioned in the Mary Webb novel it also hosted many famous music nights in the 70's including Ronnie Lane, Eric Clapton and Rod Stewart. We pride ourselves on our customer service and friendly attitude. We love to host wedding parties (either vintage or traditional style) christening parties, birthday parties or any other special occasions. Please feel free to get in touch to discuss what we can offer you. Check out our reviews on Trip Advisor (we are rated 4.5/5), we have two Certificates of Excellence and have won two awards from Laterooms in both the Small Hotel and Activity Hotel categories.
