While many of you know and love The King's Arms, you may not realise that upstairs we are also home to a beautiful 12-room lodge, cared for by an exceptional housekeeping team.
Led by our wonderful Head Housekeeper, Karen, alongside Miya and Amanda, these ladies are the heart of our guest accommodation and the reason so many visitors return time and time again.
Their dedication, pride, and attention to detail have earned an outstanding 5-star rating and 100% scores in both our annual and unannounced audits for the past two consecutive years — an achievement we are incredibly proud of. 🌟
For Karen, Miya and Amanda, housekeeping is far more than preparing rooms. They delight in creating special moments for our guests, whether that's a thoughtful towel display for a birthday or anniversary, or ensuring every stay feels welcoming, comfortable and memorable from the moment you arrive.
They love reading your reviews, hearing about your experiences, and recognising the familiar faces of guests who choose to stay with us again and again.
The warmth, care and dedication they bring to their roles often goes unseen, but it never goes unnoticed. They are the reason our lodge feels like a home away from home for so many.
