Comfortable and welcoming, The George Hotel is right here in the centre of
South Molton. We have 10 ensuite bedrooms a restaurant and the Exmoor Bar
serving Tribute, Doombar and Mainbrace real ales, Guinness and Carlsberg, Thatchers Gold and Winkleigh ciders and
great house wines as well as a good selection of malt whiskies and all the
normal spirits.

This year, we are proud to be celebrating ten wonderful years since I took on The George, South Molton; a significant milestone that means so much to me.

From those early days of renovation and restoration to the welcoming space you see today, The George has truly been a labour of love. What has made the journey so special, however, is the kindness, loyalty and support of our community. From familiar faces to those discovering us for the first time, we’ve loved hosting each and every one of you.
