Tucked away in the Somerset countryside, our site offers seven accommodation spaces: four yurts, a safari tent, a cosy shepherd’s hut and a converted Canadian bus.

Spend your days exploring the local area, cooking together in the communal kitchen, gathering around the campfire with a drink, and catching up under the stars.

How does it work?

We’re a small, peaceful site with just four yurts, one safari tent, a quirky Canadian bus and a shepherd’s hut, all tucked into an enclosed woodland setting beside a large pond.

Each hideaway has access to one of our shared kitchen areas, but with your own dedicated cooking space, including your own cooker and utilities, so you’re not sharing shelves or hob space with anyone else.

You’ll also have your own private toilet and shower room within our facilities block, reserved just for you for the duration of your stay.

It’s the best of both worlds: the ease and comfort of glamping, with privacy, space and a quiet Somerset setting to properly switch off.

Everything somehow tastes better outdoors.

One of the simple joys of glamping? Cooking outside. A big breakfast on the BBQ. Lazy lunches in the sunshine. Dinner over the fire pit. And possibly far too many s’mores before bed.

We’ve also got a communal kitchen space and it often becomes part of the holiday experience, people pulling up a chair, chatting to fellow glamping neighbours while children disappear off and quickly find new adventure buddies.

One of the best things about staying at Yeabridge? You really don’t need to pack half your house. Each stay comes with the essentials covered, cooking equipment, your own space to cook, beds made up and everything you need to settle straight into holiday mode.

Just bring yourselves, a pair of boots, a change of clothes and a sense of adventure. Oh… and maybe marshmallows.

Something new is coming to Yeabridge Hideaway…

We’re really excited to be teaming up with Adventure Bound to start offering outdoor activities for guests staying with us here in South Somerset.

Think archery, axe throwing, battle archery and a little more adventure alongside your countryside escape. Perfect for family getaways, team building, group stays, retreats or whole site bookings where you want to add something a bit different to the weekend.

We can’t wait to bring these experiences to the Hideaway over the coming months. Fresh air, good company and a little healthy competition feels very us!

Board games in the Somerset sunshine, drinks on the table and nowhere else to be.

Our communal kitchen is quickly becoming one of our guests favourite spots at Yeabridge Hideaway. A place for slow breakfasts, long chats, evening drinks and a little healthy competition over a board game or two while the sun drops over the fields.

Simple pleasures, countryside style. Either bring along your own, find one in our shop or even pop to Yeovil and visit Atomic Comics in the Quedam for a HUGE selection!
