Located a short drive across the Castlemartin range, Stack Rocks, the Green Bridge of Wales and Huntsman’s Leap is one of our favourite sections of the coastal path at any time of year but, at this time of year, its extra special with the arrival of thousands of nesting guillemots ❤️. It’s a great location for an evening picnic to watch the sunset ❤️

Stack Rocks is a short drive across the Castlemartin Range so makes for a lovely breakfast or evening picnic spot. It’s a stunning location and, in late Spring, it’s also home to a magnificent colony of nesting guillemots and razorbills!

It’s that time of year when our lovely guests start asking where they can walk from the cottage door! You can find a selection of our favourite local walks by searching

We always recommend walking down the hill in front of the cottage and taking the second gate into Caroline Grove to head around the Lily ponds. The route above is ~7km and takes in Bosherston Lily Ponds, Broadhaven South Beach, Lady Caroline’s Chair and the Devil’s Quoit before returning across the fields and through the woodland in front of the cottage.

If you fancy walking a little bit further afield, the beautiful Angle Peninsula has a lovely 6.5km circular walk which starts and ends at the car park by Wavecrest cafe (worth a pop in for lunch or coffee and cake!)
