Fresh sea air, rugged cliffs, and stunning views... 🌊🥾

One of the best things about a stay at The Cottage is having the incredible North Yorkshire coast quite literally on your doorstep. Step outside and you’re just moments away from joining the famous Cleveland Way!

Whether you're hiking up the cliffs for panoramic ocean views or taking a gentle morning stroll down to the harbour for a coffee, there is so much to explore on foot.

Lovely words from our guests 💛

Thank you to everyone who has left a review of Yellow Door Retreats on Airbnb, Facebook and Google. After all the work that’s gone into the cottage, reading these means so much to us.

We’re delighted guests have enjoyed the peaceful setting beside the beck, the cosy rooms and the little finishing touches. One has already booked to come back!

Look what one of our lovely guests left for us… 💛✏️

This beautiful drawing was created during their stay at Yellow Door Retreats, and we’re absolutely chuffed to have such a thoughtful keepsake!

Seeing guests enjoy our little cottage, relax on the patio and find inspiration to create something this special makes all the hard work worth it. 🏡✨
We just wish we were as talented as our guests — we’ll stick to making the cottage cosy and leave the sketching to them! 😂🎨

Thank you for leaving us something to treasure. 💛

🥳✨We have received our very first 5-star review on Airbnb, and to say we’re over the moon is an understatement!🥳✨

Knowing that our guests enjoyed their time at The Cottage makes all the hard work, late nights, and interior touches completely worth it. A huge thank you to our wonderful first guests for setting the bar so high, we are officially inspired to keep making every stay just as special. 💛

Here’s to many more! 🏡✨
