In the late 1990's Lee Skelton 'served his time' under the guidance of Pete Chapman at Au Temps Perdu. A keen interest in reclaimed materials was retained to the point Teesside Architectural was formed. Teesside Architectural Salvage (TAS) supply reclaimed building materials and internal fixtures and fittings.

Them doors look like sh*t my mate said to me the other week, covered in sh*t was more apt.. Salvaged from near Sedgefield, and now totally transformed, stripped at the yard and now ready for a new home…

Easily the best cast trough I’ve ever had my hands on, salvaged from near Forge Lane on the Castle Lambton estate ..maybe it was once a forge trough..anyway absolute beauty and back at the yard measuring in at a whopping 73 inch in length, 37 inch width and 24.75 inch in height..

Foundry moulds, lots of them. A few are stamped Marshall Richard’s , google is indicating a foundry from Crook. I’ll be selling them as a job lot, interesting items, industrial wall art maybe…

A canny little run of Art Deco cinema seats salvaged today from the Masonic Hall in Shildon. It’s been a while since I had some in stock. I’ll be open tomorrow 10-4pm ..

First test batch of doors stripped at the yard is going ok, paint removed, just waiting on them to dry out. We’ve stripped a Georgian six panel, a Victorian four panel, and an Art Deco one over three panel. We’ll be able to strip customer doors moving forward, collection and delivery can also be arranged.

Unfortunately I’m closed today, back from holiday on Sunday. I’ll be about at the yard next week. A few fires and fenders cleaned up before I went away, and all available for a new home..
