Corsewall Estate offers magical holiday cottages on the shores of Loch Ryan in south west Scotland

We currently have four cottages on the estate - Stables Cottage, which sleeps 4, Home Farm Cottage, which sleeps 5, Garden Cottage, which sleeps 6 and High Clachan Farmhouse, which sleeps 8. We also have a holiday house in Portpatrick- Cedar Lodge - which sleeps 8 and has fabulous sea views.

💙 Wonderful news for Dumfries & Galloway!

We’re delighted to hear that National Geographic has named Dumfries & Galloway one of its Best of the World destinations for 2027.

Anyone who knows this part of Scotland will understand why! From beautiful beaches and dramatic coastlines to peaceful countryside, woodland walks and charming little places to explore, there’s so much to discover here.

At Corsewall Estate Holiday Cottages, we feel very lucky to share this special corner of south-west Scotland with our guests. 🌊🌿

A little bit of magic after dark at Corsewall Estate

Scotland’s first Dark Sky Festival has been taking place this month, with lots of fun, star-themed events celebrating the wonderful night skies of south-west Scotland.

Even my old iPhone has managed to capture a little of the atmosphere here at Corsewall Estate — although the real thing is so much more magical.

No big towns glowing on the horizon, no endless city lights, just peaceful, inky skies, a scattering of stars and the cosy glow of cottage windows in the darkness. 🌟

It’s one of those simple pleasures that makes a stay in the countryside so special. A reminder to slow down, step outside and look up.

Sybil bounding through the bluebells, sadly without her mother, Struay, this year 💔. The daffodils and bluebells have been amazing this spring. In fact, it’s peak bluebells as I write. 💙
