Tysoe really is such a beautiful place — and our holiday let guests seem to love its charm too. We’re very lucky to call it home.

Today’s changeover challenge: deciding what on earth to wear for another day of “all four seasons before lunchtime” weather.

We’re busy getting the lodges and gardens ready for our weekend guests, while the weather keeps changing its mind every 12 minutes.

But at least permanent sunshine is on the way for our weekend arrivals!

What’s hot?

I’ll tell you what’s hot… WE ARE. 🥵☀️

Two changeovers, beds to make, lodges to sparkle, hot tubs refilled, and then the small matter of making beds inside the geodomes when it’s 32°C outside.

Honestly, if anyone needs us, we’ll be gently melting into the decking with a Henry Hoover in one hand and a fitted sheet in the other.

Glamorous countryside hospitality at its finest. 🌿😂

Sunrise from the geodesic dome never gets old. ✨

There’s something very lovely about waking up before the rest of the world, watching the sky slowly change colour over the fields, coffee in hand, wrapped up and doing absolutely nothing useful at all.

A lovely walk if you’re staying with us is up to the windmill at Compton Wynyates. 🌿

It’s a bit of a climb, but the views from the top are well worth it — proper rolling Warwickshire countryside, big open skies and a great excuse to get out for some fresh air.

Then it’s back to the lodge for a hot tub, a drink on the deck and absolutely no guilt about putting your feet up for the rest of the day.

Don’t forget your walking shoes!
