As another season at Poplar Farm Leisure Park draws to a close, we’ve been looking back on what a year it’s been! 💚

We’ve welcomed new owners into the Poplar Farm community, added Wi-Fi across the park and introduced our accessible toilet and shower room. We’ve also had three very special new arrivals keeping everyone smiling: Socks, Ralph and Mouse the goats! 🐐

One of the highlights was Poplar Farm Fest ’26. Despite the weather, you came out to support the local stalls, enjoy the BBQ and listen to some brilliant live music. Together, we raised £300 for Hensell Goat Rescue’s winter shelter — a wonderful example of what our community can do.

The Barn has been full of good food, bingo, quiz nights and live entertainment. A huge thank you to every artist who performed for us this year, including Paul Nicholson, Molly Cartawick, S.O.S, Tribute, Bluebird Jams, Scanny Sings, Roy Fulton, Creaking Bones and all the other brilliant acts who brought the Barn to life. 🎶

And of course, thank you to everyone who has worked so hard throughout the year — our team at the park, our Barnettes, performers, stallholders, residents and everyone who has visited, supported us and helped make Poplar Farm such a friendly place to be.

We’re so grateful for all the laughs, good times and lovely memories made in 2026. We’re already looking forward to welcoming everyone back for the 2027 season! 💚

💚 THAT “WE COULD JUST GO TO POPLAR FARM” FEELING…

Sometimes the best breaks start with a simple suggestion.

“Shall we head to the caravan?” 🏡

No searching for somewhere to stay—just a few things in the car and the thought of your own familiar comforts waiting for you.

Before long, you’re putting the kettle on, deciding whether to head to the beach or catch up with friends at The Barn.

That’s one of the lovely things about having your own home from home: even an ordinary week can have a little escape to look forward to.

Are you a “packed and ready the night before” person—or a “grab a bag and let’s go” person? 😂

An incredible sight on the park tonight as a thick bank of fog rolls in, completely swallowing the last bit of sunset!
​There’s a sense of silence now as this strange, heavy cloak of fog settles over Poplar Farm. It feels eerily quiet and strangely magical—arriving just in time for Halloween tomorrow! 🎃👻

🌫️🎃 EVEN THE WEATHER IS GETTING INTO THE HALLOWEEN SPIRIT!

Poplar Farm was looking rather spooky at 6am this morning, with thick, low-lying fog blanketing the park and the holiday homes almost disappearing into the mist! 👻

With The Barn’s lights glowing through the gloom and an eerie stillness around the lake, we couldn’t resist snapping a few pictures. 📸

Quite the atmosphere for Halloween weekend—who needs a fog machine when nature does it this well? 😂🎃

🍂 A CHANGE OF SCENERY IN THE LINCOLNSHIRE WOLDS

One of the lovely things about having a holiday home at Poplar Farm is being able to enjoy different days out.

A beach walk one day, a wander around Louth the next—or a countryside drive through the Lincolnshire Wolds, stopping whenever something catches your eye.

Pack your walking shoes, take your camera and leave a little room for a café stop! ☕📸

Then head back to your own home from home for a relaxing evening.

🐐 SAY HELLO TO THE POPLAR FARM GOAT GANG!

Socks, Ralph and Mouse have become three very familiar faces here at Poplar Farm Leisure Park! 💚

Since joining us earlier this year, they’ve brought a little extra character to park life—and given us plenty of reasons to stop for a photograph along the way.

🌊 EVERYONE HAS A LITTLE SEASIDE TRADITION…

That first glimpse of the sea. Fish and chips eaten in the fresh air. A wander along the promenade—or insisting on an ice cream whatever the weather! 🍦😂

When you spend time on the Lincolnshire coast, those little rituals become part of the pleasure of coming back.

Here at Poplar Farm Leisure Park, we love having the coast nearby and our peaceful countryside setting to return to afterwards. 💚
