🌳 A little more peace and quiet this November?

Our two woodland cottages, Barn Owl Lodge and The Keeper's Cottage, are tucked away from the main farm in their own peaceful setting.

They're particularly popular with families and groups who enjoy having space to themselves, with woodland surroundings and plenty of opportunities to get outdoors.

Both cottages sleep up to eight guests, and they're dog-friendly too. They can also be connected if you're planning a break with a larger group.

We've currently got good availability throughout November, so it's worth taking a look if you're planning a few days away.

🐴 Riding and Pony Care over Half Term

From led pony walks and beginner lessons to sessions for more experienced riders, there's still time to book a session at Clyne. We've also got Horse & Pony Care, and Mounted Games. Plus Challenge Valley sessions.

Our beginner lead rein session is fully booked, but there are still places available for:
• 1.45pm: Beginners off lead rein, 4 places remaining.
• 2.30pm: Intermediate and advanced, just 1 place remaining!

🌿 Challenge Valley

Our outdoor assault course is also available to book by arrangement during half term. Suitable for ages 8+, with a minimum group of four. Expect obstacles, challenges and plenty of mud!

Please note: Availability is correct at the time of posting. As we're a small riding centre, bookings depend on having a suitable horse or pony available for each rider. If your preferred session is full, you can join the waiting list.

🌿 October half term is here!

We've put together a guide to family days out in Swansea, Mumbles and Gower, with plenty of ideas for the week ahead.

🐒 Meet the animals at Plantasia Tropical Zoo
🧗 Try Ninja Warrior UK Swansea or Crazy Climb Swansea
🌳 Explore Clyne Valley Country Park or visit the dinosaurs in Singleton Park.
🏖️ Wrap up warm for a walk or some rock pooling on a Gower beach.
🐴 Meet our horses at Clyne Farm Centre or get muddy at Challenge Valley.

There are indoor options for rainy days too, including bowling and mini golf.

We've included some of our favourite local places, plus a few ideas for days out further afield.

🍂 October half term is nearly here, and we've still got a few gaps in our cottage bookings!

🐴 You are invited! 🐴

Fancy meeting Hettie and her friends this October half term? On Tuesday 27th October, we're opening our stables for some FREE Meet & Greet sessions.

Come along, meet some of our horses and ponies, have a look around the stables and chat to our instructors. It's a lovely opportunity for children (and grown-ups!) to get to know our horses, especially if you've never visited us before.

⏰ 9am, 9.45am, 10.30am and 11.15am
⏳ 30 minutes per session
🎟️ Completely free, but booking is essential.

Children aged 2+ and adults are welcome. Under-2s can attend free without a ticket. There's no riding involved, just a chance to spend some time around the horses and ponies.

Our later morning sessions are filling up, but we've still got plenty of free places at 9am and 9.45am.

Already making plans for 2027? 📅

There's plenty happening around Swansea, Mumbles and Gower next year!

From the Croeso Festival in February, Tunes on the Bay in May, the Gower Show, Simply Red at Singleton Live in August, to the Great Welsh Marathon in October there's plenty to look forward to.

And we're still waiting for dates for other favourites, including the Wales Airshow, Gower Walking Festival and the Swansea International Jazz Festival.

We've put together our 2027 What's On guide, with confirmed dates and other events to look out for. We'll keep updating it as more details are announced.

Looking for something a bit different to do this October half term? 🍂

How about taking on Challenge Valley at Clyne Farm Centre?

Climb, scramble, tackle obstacles and work together as you make your way around our outdoor assault course. Expect plenty of challenges, lots of laughs and to be absolutely covered in mud by the end!

It's a great activity for families and groups of friends who fancy getting outdoors and doing something together.
