⏰ Don't Forget! The Clocks Change on Sunday ⏰

Before you head to bed on tonight, remember to put your clocks back by 1 hour! 🕰️ You'll gain an extra hour in bed, but let's be honest, you'll probably spend it wondering what time it actually is! 😆
✅ Extra hour of sleep✅ Cosy autumn mornings✅ Less chance of turning up early (or late!)
Who's looking forward to that bonus hour? 😴🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

🍂 There will be NO kerbside garden waste collections between the 30th November 2026 and the 29th January 2027.

📆 This is a total of 2 months.

🚛 This suspension is timed to take place when demand for the service drops significantly over winter and will allow the crews to support the collection of other materials over the busy Christmas period.

♻ If you wish to dispose of garden waste during this period you can still take it to your local recycling centre or store / compost it at home until collections restart.

✏️ This means the final garden waste collections of the year will take place the weeks commencing the 16th and 23rd November on whichever is your *PINK* collection week.

🧐 You can check your collection schedule at www.swansea.gov.uk/recyclingsearch

Planning a walk out to Worm’s Head? Check the Causeway Times!

If you’re staying with us and fancy exploring one of Gower’s most iconic landmarks, make sure you check the Worm’s Head causeway safe crossing times before you head out.

The causeway is only accessible for about 2.5 hours either side of low tide, and the tide comes in fast — so timing is everything.

The National Coastwatch Institution (NCI) Worm’s Head team provide daily safe‑crossing guidance and keep an eye on visitors from their lookout. They’re brilliant, friendly, and always happy to help keep everyone safe.

👉 Check today’s causeway opening times:

Live Worms Head (Worm's Head) causeway times and tide tracker from the volunteer NCI coastwatch lookout at Rhosili (Rhossili), Gower. Safe crossing windows, walking guide and safety advice.
