Barcdy is a small, quiet, family park offering pitches for touring caravans and tents in a beautiful part of the Snowdonia National Park. It lies in a secluded and sheltered vale, with wooded hills tumbling down to the rear and wide open views across the Dwyryd estuary to the front. For camping there is a choice of two areas - the meadow and the knoll. The knoll is an idyllic spot that has the feeling of camping in the wild at the same time as being within easy reach of the comfort of our facilities. Our touring pitches are also divided between two areas - one with a view across the estuary to the Llyn Peninsula in the distance and the other in a sheltered valley. All 40 touring pitches are all-weather and serviced with 10 amp electric, digital tv and water connection and waste water drain. 20 have Sky connection, using your own receiver. We do not accept dogs on our touring and camping areas - sorry. The nearest village for shopping is Penrhyndeudraeth - a mile away. Supermarkets can be found at Porthmadog - 5 miles away.
