Today our 4 B&B rooms reopen following improvement works. This included replastering, redecorating, new carpets, new decor and accessories along with additional maintenance work including improvements to the floorboards.

Perfect for an escape to the countryside and ideally located close to Oulton Park and several wedding venues.

⭐️Meet the team Monday! ⭐️

This week it’s someone who probably doesn’t need any introduction Annabelle. Originally joining the team part time at while at university Annabelle then took over as General Manager after graduating in 2021. With a business and HR degree under her belt Annabelle looks after the bookings, events, HR and payroll side of the business while also running the Front of House.

Favourite part of the job “Love interacting with customers and seeing our lovely regulars”

Favourite drink: “either cheeky glass of fizz or an aperol spritz of course” 🥂

Fave dish on menu: “at moment is pan fried salmon” 🍽️

Most likely to: “be found organising a random cupboard or going mad somethings in the wrong place 🙈”

As part of our commitment to make the pub accessible for everyone further improvements have been added to our accessible entrance. Including additional signage along with a door bell for attracting assistance from the team.

During our refurbishment last year we created new, larger accessible parking spaces closer to the door. Along with a wider door, combined with an external wall removal, making access easier. New accessible toilet facilities including an extra wide door and modern fixtures.
