e summer months alfresco dining or drinks on the lawn whilst perusing the menu, in chillier times before a
roaring fire or tucked in the cosy bar, it is a place for all seasons. second year awarded 5 stars by Pembrokeshire Council for food handling processes & safety. LOUNGE & BAR: An elegant lounge with a working victorian fireplace and snug sun room with glorious views are the ideal place to relax and unwind. The cosy bar adjoins the restaurant, admire the miscellania, make friends, chat and have a drink. GARDEN: With views to die for! Rolling lawns with views straight across Manorbier Bay to the sandy beach of Barafundle/ Flanked on the left by an imposing Norman church. On the right the fabulous Manorbier Castle, the view ever changing and always stunning. Guests have exclusive use of the garden during daytime, and during the evenings in the summer months we serve dinner outside, weather permitting

ROOMS: We have 9 guest bedrooms, all ensuite with telephones, courtesy trays and flat screen TVs. Due to the history of the building they vary greatly in aspect and size. Sea view rooms are always at a premium,
and tend to be larger and get booked earlier. This is reflected in the tariffs we charge (see website). We endeavour always to ensure that those guests whom do not benefit from a sea view in their room have a prime seat in the restaurant to soak up the view. Family rooms are available and the coach house rooms with their own front door are ideal for guests whom wish to bring their dogs, or those whom find stairs difficult. WEDDINGS: For 25 years Castlemead has been hosting a wide range of very happy celebrations. From small intimate meals, often following a ceremony at the castle to marquees catering for up to 180 people, Castlemead offers the most stunning
location available. Anyone booking a wedding has exclusivity of the facilities, there are no other guests in the hotel and timings menus etc are
worked to your needs to make your day truly memorable. Our location, between the church & castle with its civic license within the chapel, and the expertise gained from 35 years of outside catering with Alfresco means we are able to break the mould and offer something completely different. We’re delighted to be joined by The Floral Goat for two very special wreath-making workshops, where you’ll create your very own beautiful handmade Christmas wreath to take home and proudly hang on your door. 🌿🎀

Festive Afternoon Tea & Wreath Making

Settle in beside the open fire and get creative with The Floral Goat, who will guide you through making your very own beautiful Christmas wreath using seasonal foliage, dried flowers and plenty of festive loveliness.

Once your wreath is finished, sit back, relax and enjoy a delicious festive afternoon tea, with a glass of fizz and all the cosy Christmas feels. ☕️🎄

Tipsy Tapas & Wreath Making

This one is for the grown-ups… 🎄🍷

Come along for a cosy evening of wreath making, delicious tapas and a few festive tipples!

The Floral Goat will guide you through creating your own unique Christmas wreath using beautiful seasonal foliage and natural materials.

Then, once the crafting is done, settle in by the open fire and enjoy a selection of festive tapas, with a drink (or two!) to keep you feeling suitably merry. 🥂✨
