✨ A Glimpse into History ✨

We recently received an unexpected email all the way from America! 🇺🇸 A gentleman kindly shared with us photographs of The Spread Eagle Hotel taken in 1936, when his parents stayed at the hotel.

These images show both the front of the hotel and the garden as they were nearly 90 years ago. He also sent us a photo of the Fighting C***s which is now Sainsburys and the Bird Cage 🌿🏨

We loved seeing these pieces of history and we’d love to hear from you too…
