🧶✨ Makers Meet at Swattesfield Campsite – This Weekend! ✨🏕️

The weekend weather is set to look good ☀️🌿 and we’re looking forward to welcoming our Makers Meet this coming weekend!

Come and camp, meet like-minded crafters and enjoy a lovely relaxed weekend creating, chatting and sharing ideas. Whatever craft you’re working on at the moment, you’re very welcome to bring it along — we’re always intrigued to see what people are making and love learning new skills too! 🧵🪡🎨

And don’t worry — you absolutely don’t have to be a crafter to come camping! Everyone is welcome at Swattesfield Campsite as usual. 😊 But if you’re curious, you’re always welcome to come along, have a peek at what everyone is crafting and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. Who knows, you might even be inspired to try something new!

🛠️🎨 MAKERS MEET IS BACK! 🎨🛠️

Following the success of our last Makers Meet in June, we’ve decided to do it all again! 🙌

If you’re local and fancy meeting other like-minded crafters, makers and creative people, come along and join us! ❤️

Bring along your own craft or project, share your skills, learn something new and enjoy a relaxed weekend of creativity, community and connection. 🧶🔨🧵🎨

🏕️ Camping not your thing? No problem!
You’re very welcome to pop along for the day and meet everyone, have a craft, and enjoy the atmosphere. We just ask that you let us know you’re coming and there is £5 parking for day visitors.

Whether you’re an experienced maker or just fancy having a go at something new, everyone is welcome. 😊

🙌 “FINALLY GOT SOME RAIN” ☔️ We’ve had a little bit of rain today off and on, but not loads. We will be allowing charcoal bbqs off the ground and it is very likely we will allow fire pits within reason tomorrow if we get another shower tonight! 🙌 Thanks for your patience and understanding 💖

With the devastating wildfires and with a heavy heart, we are not allowing wood fires for the meantime until we get some rain! Currently, with precautions we are allowing charcoal bbqs, the eco pizza oven and gas stoves to be used for cooking. Any wood already bought from us will be refunded!! Apologies for any inconvenience ❤️☀️

Our first craft weekend, and hopefully the first of many! ☀️🎨

It was an absolute scorcher, but despite the heat everyone kept smiling, crafting, and making it such a fantastic weekend.

A massive thank you to Jo and Sue for all your help and support, and to everyone who came along, got involved, and shared your amazing crafts. It was lovely seeing everyone inspire each other, learn new skills, and enjoy being creative together.

A very big thank you to dad (Phil), for all his hard work behind the scenes, for helping everything run smoothly and to always being there whenever something needed doing. You even managed to find a little time to make yourself a sawhorse too! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who supported our very first craft weekend. Your enthusiasm, kindness, laughter, and encouragement made the weekend so special. Seeing everyone relax, create, and enjoy each other's company is exactly what we hoped for.

To round off Saturday evening, we all gathered under the parachute canopy to watch England on the projector. It was a brilliant atmosphere, and nothing beats coming together to support our boys and enjoy great company.

If this weekend is anything to go by, we can't wait for the next one. Thank you all again for making our first craft weekend such a success—we're already looking forward to welcoming you back! 😊🏕️🧵
