🐟🍟 Fish & Chips Thursday is here! ☀️

With the weather looking lovely this Thursday 18th June, we’ll be serving up our Fish & Chip Thursday from 5pm–8pm in The Cow Shed Cafe & Bar at Crossgate Campsite!

✨ Totally gluten free! ✨

On the menu:
🐟 Fresh catch of the day
🥔 Traditional triple-cooked chips
🥣 Homemade chip shop curry sauce
🫛 Marrowfat mushy peas
🥄 Homemade tartare sauce
🌟 All coated in our air-rated tempura batter

All this for just £15!

Pre-booking is recommended to avoid disappointment, although we’ll always do our best to accommodate walk-ins.

Fun fact: I used to work for Heston Blumenthal, who actually invented the famous triple-cooked chip – so our chips are taken very seriously! 😏🍟

Our breakfasts are served Thursday to Sunday from 9:30am – 12pm, and are available to eat in or takeaway.

Our full breakfast is freshly cooked to order and includes bacon, sausage, black pudding, eggs, hash browns, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans and 2 slices of toast.

Not in the mood for a full English? We also serve pancakes, French toast and breakfast rolls.

A little update on our Chef Wanted post 👨‍🍳

We’ve now added the typical working hours to give applicants a clearer idea of what the role involves day-to-day.

This position would be ideal for someone looking to step up, take on more responsibility, or progress their career within the industry. There will be plenty of support, training and guidance available from our team to help the right person grow into the role.

We’re a friendly, relaxed countryside venue, but when it’s busy, it’s busy – so the successful applicant will need to be organised, able to work under pressure, and enjoy working as part of a team.

The role offers plenty of opportunity to get creative too, with the chance to help develop menus, specials and themed events, including using our BBQ and smoker equipment for BBQ nights and special occasions.
