We had a visit from a pine marten last night, INSIDE the house 🤯. We’ve a garden room out the back used for storage and a big hole in the door where a cat flap used to be 🙈. Think it must have been attracted by the bird seed we store in there. Or Simon Thomasson’s home brew 😅 🍺. Anyway it seemed to know what it was doing so perhaps a regular visitor unbeknownst to us. It even came into the laundry room and had a look through the cat flap leading to the kitchen which is how Tomo became aware of it! It makes sense as I see a lot of s**t on the path out the back, which I had been advised was feral cat but now I think its def Pine Marten s**t. Photos aren’t great as no lights out the back but from the photos it looks as though one of its eyes is damaged and I think the grey marking on the face is cobwebs rather than markings. It looked a bit underweight. Have a video of it growling and hissing if anyone’s interested!

Yesterday evening I painted this little otter on an OS map section of the Dervaig area and, as we will passing that way today, I thought I would do a little art drop and leave it somewhere for someone to find and hopefully bring a little smile to someone’s day.
