Its blowing a hooly and the hubster has a swelling on his elbow the size of a tennis ball.
Hopefully, the doc said, antibiotics should work.
If not its a scan.

We've retreated to the summer house for cups of tea and lemon buns.
The hubster is 60 next week, he'll be away as is the norm on his birthday, so we are celebrating this weekend and next weekend, starting with lemon buns ...😋😆

The squirrels are most entertaining, clinging on at height performing all sorts derring doo's to get to the nuts😂🐿🐿

Poached eggs for our lunch.
I'd like to say the poached eggs matched the soft warm rain. They were not soft and the rain is tipping down.😆
Its stopped work in the garden quite a bit this week.
We worked into last night to try and catch up, packing up by 9pm.
With more wood ordered for the drive fence, we may have to hang up the tools till fair weather returns.
Luna loves to play whatever the weather, Bain is shooting me the look, it means don't bother suggesting I go p*e, I won't go'😁🐾🐾

A p*ek outside before bed last night revealed a lovely sky.

I'm on a week off with the hubster.
The weather is holding us up, but this afternoon should be better, so we can crack on, which is good, we have more deliveries due🫣

Getting on with the outside has been many hours in the planning, savings hoarded for years, and unexpected changes to plans.
Two huge trees taken down at some cost due to ash dieback were an unhappy surprise.

The hubster, well, he won a motorbike last year from RevComps....bless him he sold it, a bit too small, he's a strapping tall chap, he was a bit crestfallen, its not everyday you win a bike..!
The deal was sealed upon the sale of said bike when I suggested he should have his wee workspace improved, leaving more space on the drive for the son's car, our car and his work motor, or 'Hagrid's Hearse' as I call it..!

We decided it would be a nice 60th birthday gift, a nice tidy workspace with better organisation.
Hopefully with a green roof, I'm still working on that...🤔🫣

Lots of food prep on a weekend at Two Hoots.
The feed is eased with batch cooking.

Roasted Toms is an annual delicacy at this time of year, I chose this over the favourite choice of the day, Cheesed off Eggs.

Toasted sourdough, caramelised onion chutney, topped with a creamy mix of eggs, greek yoghurt, mustard, good cheese grated with S&P.
Cook gently and spoon over the toasted sourdough a onion chutney, pop under grill to brown👌

With the hubster home for the week I chose a whopper of a joint to last us a few days into the week.

The garden is romping away, pots, baskets and tubs more or less completed.
I have 20 plus Sarah Raven Dahlias to plant out, a job for this week.

The conservatory was home to a good few plants and is now back to a crafting space, when its cooler.

My mother Audrey Connell, would have been 99 today.
I was 43 when she passed on.

We placed a summer house, last year for my 60th, in her favourite spot to sit, our Old English Mastiff Rosie would keep her company.
I'd like to think they are still together.
Mum had a difficult and very challenging life.
But it made her kinder not harder, she doted on her children.

My fathers tough life however, produced a much different person and after dealing with my parents house sale and clearance, I lost touch with him, I assume he has passed on.

I was diagnosed with Hypermobilty Spectrum Disorder not long after Mum passed.
So I put mums passing away in a box while I learnt about my complex, not well known chronic fascia condition.
