We are within the Cairngormes National Park (link) where Tomintoul is located on the Glenlivet Crown Estate. Famously known as the highest village in the highlands, it lies at a height of 1170 ft (356m), and proudly claims to be the North East gateway to the park. Putting you on the doorstep of some of the most wonderful scenery and activities that Scotland has to offer!! Argyle Guest House has

a total of 5 B & B rooms offering a variety for almost anyone – Superior rooms – twin rooms as well as double rooms, with contemporary décor and very spacious. Four of the rooms are en-suite and one room has a large private bathroom. We welcome children and there is a cot and high chair available on request. For those of you who have dogs and other pets we welcome them with prior approval. For those that need to tweet or facebook we have FREE WIFI. Steven and Dianne look forward to welcoming you at the charming and delightful Argyle House, guest house and bed and breakfast. Sleigh training has started for our latest cohort of Christmas reindeer! 🔔

This was Yukon's first time pulling the sleigh and he was an absolute pro, alongside our 'trainer' reindeer Lupin (hiding behind Lotti). At the back of the sleigh we had Busby and Scoop who also took a turn pulling the sleigh.

When we train our reindeer to pull a sleigh, we always have the newby alongside an experienced sleigh puller. The newby takes their lead from the older reindeer and copies what they do.
