Back to school! 🎒✏️

Wishing all the little ones heading back to school a brilliant start to the new term — and lots of luck to those starting school for the very first time! 💙

After a summer of Cornish adventures, beach days and hopefully plenty of ice creams, it’s time for a new term and a new adventure. 🌊☀️

☀️ We’re not quite ready to say goodbye to summer just yet…

The final weeks of summer have a charm of their own in Cornwall. The pace begins to slow, the busiest weeks start to pass, but there’s still plenty of summer left to enjoy.

Make the most of the warmer weather with a swim in the sea, explore a new stretch of the South West Coast Path, find a quiet spot for a picnic, or spend an afternoon on the beach with nowhere else you need to be.

🍂 There’s a different side to Cornwall once the summer rush is over…

The beaches become quieter, the coastal paths more peaceful, and Portwrinkle settles into a slower pace that makes autumn one of our favourite times of year to be here.

And tucked away by the coast, Drake is the perfect place to enjoy it. ✨
