The Chelston Manor is situated off Walnut Road in the leafy suburb of Chelston

Chelston Manor is a charming 17th century house of great character. Set in its own grounds, it is reputed to be one of the oldest in Torquay. Originally thatched, many of the unique features of the building remain today, with Tudor hood-moulds over the windows and paired octagonal chimneys. Whilst the policy of consta

nt improvement has resulted in some alterations, the interior of the property retains many reminders of its history. The hotel is within walking distance of the sea front, railway station, English Riviera Centre and Torquay's many holiday amenities. The suntrap garden provides a beautiful setting in which to relax and enjoy a cool drink. There is an enclosed area for toddlers and a children's play area. This family orientated pub is now under the new ownership of Julie & Dave Armstrong. Their aim, with the help of their experienced team, is to create a welcoming atmosphere that is enhanced by first class customer service and the quality affordable food on offer. We pride ourselves on being a family run, Family friendly pub offering solid quality value. At present there is no accommodation available as work will commence in the summer 2015 which will result in there being 10 double or twin bedrooms, each is furnished to a excellent standard - all rooms will have the benefit of en-suite private facilities.

with your name, party size, and preferred date & time.

Confirm your spot: We’ll reply with availability and payment details for a 50% deposit.

Pre-order: Once confirmed, we’ll send over an order form. All pre-orders must be returned at least 7 days prior to your booking.

This is not a sales tactic, but to explain that last year we were fully booked super early and released the menu the same week as we are now. There were a lot of people that missed out on dates, so we have tried to extend the days and times to hopefully meet demand. It was a wonderful Christmas wonderland enjoyed by everyone. We are really looking forward to this one.

The fabulous Conscious Club are playing live in our beautiful garden on Sunday 7th June, 3pm–5pm (weather permitting). This is the full band and the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
