Good morning everyone ❤️

We’ve welcomed lots of new followers recently, so we thought it was the perfect time to say hello and tell you a little more about Primrose Farm Holidays, TR4 8PJ.

Tucked away in the beautiful Cornish countryside, just 10 minutes from Truro, we’re a little spot where you can slow down, enjoy the fresh air and make those holiday memories that stay with you long after you’ve gone home.
Dogs are also welcome And yes, we’re open 365 days a year! 🌿

Whether you love traditional camping, touring with your own home on wheels or something a little more special, we have accommodation to suit different kinds of getaways.

⛺ Touring pitches – EHU and fully serviced pitches available, so you can choose what suits you best.

🌼 Bell tents – a cosy glamping escape during the warmer months, from May to September, complete with beds and an outdoor camp kitchen.

🏕️ Safari tents – three lovely safari tents sleeping up to five people, with a kitchen, bathroom and private outdoor hot tub.

🌳 Oak View Lodge – our beautiful lodge sleeping up to six, with all the home comforts you need and a private outdoor hot tub.

And there’s more than just a place to stay! You’ll find toilet and shower blocks, a laundry room, freezers, a shop, coffee shop and bar. Fancy a BBQ or a cosy evening around a firepit? You can hire those too.

Then, of course, there are our four-legged and feathered farm friends, who always add a little extra character to life here! 🐐🐓🐈

We’re perfectly placed for exploring Cornwall, from beautiful beaches and coastal walks to pretty villages, local attractions and everything Cornwall has to offer. Or you can simply stay put, enjoy the countryside and do absolutely nothing at all.

We’ve been waiting for this one… it’s nearly hot chocolate o’clock at Primrose Farm Holidays, TR4 8PJ 🤎

Every autumn and winter, it becomes a firm favourite with so many of our lovely guests and we think it’s only right to give it the official season opening it deserves! ☕🍂

There’s a lot to love about Cornwall in the colder months, but a delicious hot chocolate after a day of exploring has to be up there!

So, shall we make it official? Hot chocolate season is OPEN!

Now, settle an important question for us… are you team marshmallows, whipped cream or both? 😍

🌞🐐 Good morning from Primrose Farm Holidays, TR4 8PJ.

There’s no sleeping in when breakfast is being served! 😂 Our girls are happily tucking into their morning feast, reminding us that the best way to start the weekend is with a full tummy and a little sunshine!

Happy Saturday! We hope you’ve got a lovely weekend ahead, whatever you’re up to. A slow morning, a countryside walk, a cosy cuppa… or perhaps something a little more exciting 🥾☕️

And can you believe Halloween and Half Term are creeping closer? 🎃
Have you got plans yet? Fancy dress, pumpkin carving, spooky adventures… or are you firmly in the “I’ll decide on the 31st” camp? 😂

🍁 So… what have you actually been up to?

This is the bit we love about having guests at Primrose Farm Holidays, TR4 8PJ.

Some head off first thing with a plan for the day. Others disappear into Cornwall and come back hours later with stories, muddy boots and absolutely no idea what time it is. 😂

And then there are those who decide the best holiday plan is… not having a plan at all.

✔️A wander
✔️A good lunch
✔️A bit of exploring
✔️Back to the farm
✔️Something warm to drink
… and an evening where nobody needs to be anywhere.

Honestly? We think that sounds pretty perfect!

If you’re already here with us, we hope you’re making the most of every minute.

Cornwall is still waiting ❤️

We have a little availability left in our safari tents, so if your idea of a perfect few days is swapping the alarm clock for birdsong and the daily routine for “shall we go exploring… or shall we stay here?” you know where we are. 🌿

The evenings are definitely starting to feel a little cooler now 🍂

But honestly… we’re not complaining! There’s something lovely about wrapping up warm, lighting the fire pit and sitting outside as the sun goes down.
The smell of the fire, the crackling flames and a sky full of stars… and we think it’s finally marshmallow season!

So if you love those cosy evenings around a fire, you know where to come… bring your favourite people, get the fire going and make an evening of it. 🥰

Cornwall really doesn’t need summer to show off… 🍂🌊

When the crowds thin out and the countryside turns golden, Cornwall somehow feels even more magical. Wild coastlines, quieter beaches, cosy little villages, beautiful walks and that unmistakable Cornish feeling that makes you want to slow down and stay a little longer.

And there’s plenty happening this autumn too:

🎃 October half-term, spooky adventures & family fun across Cornwall

And just like that… the first week back at school is DONE! 🎒

We hope it’s been a good one for all the parents, little ones and teachers, although we’re guessing there may have been a few early mornings, lost shoes and “I’m too tired for school” moments along the way! 😂

But now… it’s Saturday, the weekend is here and we can start looking forward to the next little break.

October half term will be here before we know it and if you’re already dreaming of a few days away, fresh Cornish air, cosy evenings and time together as a family… maybe it’s time to start planning. 🌊🌿

☀️🌊 BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND and Cornwall has a little secret…

While everyone is busy squeezing the last bit out of summer, Cornwall is quietly getting ready for one of its best times of year 🍂

September can be a bit of a hidden gem here. The sea is still warm from summer, the days can be beautifully sunny and the big summer crowds start to disappear. You might even find yourself on a beach wondering where everyone has gone! 😍

And then there’s the light… Cornwall in early autumn has that gorgeous golden glow that makes even an ordinary evening look like someone has turned the saturation up.

Meanwhile, at Primrose Farm Holidays, the goats have absolutely no idea it’s Bank Holiday weekend. They’re just waiting for someone to bring them dinner 😂🐐

So here’s to one last big summer weekend… and to the beautiful season waiting just around the corner.

Sunday thoughts from Primrose Farm Holidays, TR4 8PJ …

If goats 🐐 could have a job title, ours would definitely be Head of Guest Relations 😂

Nina, Ruby, Star, Olive and Little Beth take their responsibilities very seriously, especially when it comes to meeting guests, posing for attention and checking whether anyone happens to have a spare carrot 🥕

They’re basically the farm’s unofficial welcome committee… although we’re still waiting for them to learn how to make coffee 🫣
