Introducing our new website for Woodbine House B&B.

Our previous CMS website had been running for many years and was a little "tired". We wanted a modern, stylish, contemporary design and we're really please with the result.

We also wanted a local "one-stop shop" to help with the redesign and development of our website and ongoing support. Mawbray Website Design are based just up the road in Earlish and have been great to deal with. Mawbray have over 20 years experience of building websites, especially for hospitality businesses, and that experience showed in our dealings with them. We highly recommend them 👍

We hope our new website will show off our lovely B&B and the local Uig area and attract new guests to Woodbine House. We also hope to encourage previous guests to come back to stay with us again soon. You know it makes sense!!

The North of Skye and especially the Uig Bay/Trotternish area is simply the best part of Skye to spend some time. But we're biased of course 😍

We're also perfectly located for the CalMac ferry to the Outer Hebrides.

Here's a few photos I took last week whilst out on a wildlife photography trip with my good friend Sandy Borland . We headed to the south of the Island to meet up with a local wildlife photographer where he took us on a wildlife photoshoot. The Wildlife were quite elusive, however we managed a few shots.

As summer makes way for the Autumn, here's a couple of pictures I took in the garden yesterday.

The last of the Montbretia flowers in a sheltered raised bed & a Red Admiral Butterfly sat on a Tree in the back garden.

Hoping to get some autumnal photos before the wind blows all the leaves off. Take care!

Cass and I had a few days off, so we struck off a bucket list walk up Ben Tianavaig. Only a couple of miles, although the 1300ft ascent puts a different slant on 2 miles (No pun intended).

Hello everyone,

We just wanted to share our good news.

Following an inspection by the AA, we have been awarded 'Four Star Gold'. The highest recognition we can achieve at Four Star grading level. During the same visit we also received and award in recognition of the quality breakfast we provide.

So nice to have our efforts recognised! 🙂🙃🙂🙃
