Say hello to Friday 🐑

One of a twin, born recently and thriving.

Last winter, we went up to feed last year’s lambs. We had 11 in total, but Martin noticed only 9 came running to the feed tray. One lamb stood off to the side, bleating at us—it almost felt like it wanted us to follow.

So, through the deep snow, Martin followed it across the croft to a spot we couldn’t easily see. There, it led us straight to its twin, which had become stuck in the fence.

Pretty amazing experience—and just shows how clever they really are. 🐑

As the sun slips behind the hills, Loch Broom turns to gold — quiet, still, and completely uninterrupted.

Captured on the south side of Ullapool, this has always been one of my favourite views… the kind of evening made for slowing down, breathing deep, and simply being.
