𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥?
Hilton Village Hall is run entirely by volunteers and is a vital hub for our community. As a very small committee, we are actively looking
for new members who would like to play a hands-on role in helping to run, support and shape the future of this important village
facility.
We understand that not everyone can commit to joining a committee, so we are also inviting villagers to support the Hall through flexible, project-based volunteering. This allows people to offer their time, skills or experience in a way that suits them, without any long-term commitment (unless they decide they would like to become more involved).
We are currently looking for help with two priority projects planned for 2026:
𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭
We are working towards Hallmark accreditation, which will help strengthen governance, sustainability and future funding opportunities for the Village Hall. We would welcome support from anyone with administrative or organisational skills who is comfortable helping with documentation and policies.
𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭
We are planning some important building repairs and improvements to help maintain
and protect our beautiful Grade II listed Village Hall for future generations. We would particularly value support from anyone with experience in construction, project management or similar areas who could help with planning, coordination or liaising with contractors and specialists. Experience working with listed buildings would be especially helpful, but is not essential.
Even a small amount of time or expertise could make a real difference and help safeguard this much-loved community asset.
