The Cart Shed Tearoom - an eclectic, vintage-style café located at Rait Antiques Centre in Rait, Perthshire. We are a very popular local spot set in a charmingly converted, stone-built farm barn with original wooden beams. Well-regarded for our warm ambiance, cozy log fire, and generous portions.

Food & Drink Highlights

Breakfast & Brunch: Popular dishes include the Eggs Hebridean (Stornoway black pudding, poached egg, and hollandaise on a muffin), French toast with bacon, and a Full Scottish breakfast.

Lunch & Light Bites: A regular selection of homemade soups (such as Cullen Skink), artisan toasties, loaded fries, open baguettes, and charcuterie boards.

Baking & Sweet Treats: Famous for our striking assortment of cakes, traybakes, and freshly baked seasonal scones (like Cranachan Cream or Chorizo & Parmesan).

Afternoon Tea: A highly popular option served in traditional china. It features savory items, hot soup, mini pies, and three tiers of sweets.

🔥 Out working on Ralston Bothy with Hot Tub chimney this week… and what a place 😍

Tucked away near Newtyle, Blairgowrie, this bothy is absolutely stunning. Proper countryside views, cosy fire, and even a hot tub to top it off 🔥🛁

Safe to say… we were very tempted to stay 😅

If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, we’d definitely recommend checking it out.
