This daft rule that solves nothing and ruins things for many is one of the reasons we decided against growing our holiday let provision. If you love your Welsh holidays, please sign- it’s ever so quick and easy!

The Senedd recently raised the occupancy threshold from 70 days to 182 to qualify for small business rates relief. This is very difficult to achieve particularly in inland areas. Tourism is being adversely affected and businesses are shutting down at a worrying rate.

Halfway along a gentle stroll from lunch at Melin Tregwynt and the sea. Heaven in a holiday home!

Hello 👋
We’re Richard & Anne-Marie, and we've recently taken over Cottage Retreats in Pembrokeshire — a small, family-run holiday cottage business based locally. We are looking to expand and build our cottage portfolio over the coming season.
We offer a hand-picked selection of lovely cottages in North Pembrokeshire, chosen for comfort, location and that all-important home-from-home feel.
If you’re looking for a relaxing break by the coast and countryside, we’d love to help you find the perfect place to stay.
