End of summer / beginning of Autumn. Call it what you will, but we love this time of year. There’s an incredible mix of light - gloomy tones with bright shafts piercing the clouds. The days are still warm but the nights are drawing in (nothing the woodburner can’t handle) and there’s still every opportunity to explore the coastline and the hills of Northumberland.

Oh, and there’s less people. And sometimes it’s nice to escape the crowds..

We booked you a table at this place we know. Guaranteed to have few other other guests interrupting the vibes (actually none) and the views are pretty sweet. The waiter may or may not be one of our friendly farm goats, and they don’t always get the drinks order right, but otherwise it’ll be pretty special.
