A delightful campsite, nestled in the rolling green hills of the Welsh/English borders. Your neighbours will be rabbits, woodpeckers, red kites, buzzards, owls & more. Award-winning Berriew village, with 2 great pubs, shop and cafe, is just 3 miles away. Also within easy reach are Snowdonia National Park, Powis Castle, the towns & hills of Shropshire, Welshpool Steam Railway, Offa’s D**e path and Lake Vyrnwy.

👋 Gosh darn it, we'd been planning and hoping to open this year, but pesky old LIFE has once again got in the way, and what with there still only being, I believe, 24 hours in each day, the new plan is 2025!

Keep on watching this space - more news when we can, and we hope you're all grand and happy and looking forward to lovely summer hols!

Wonderful Montgomery castle is 800 years old this year! The town is lovely too, with great walks, cafes, pubs, the Dragon, Castle Kitchen and the brilliant Bunners. All 20 minutes from the campsite

Love Francis! He was at glorious Barmouth, 1h15m from Tyn Yr Wtra Campsite...

This is Barmouth Bridge, one of the most idilic trainspotting locations I’ve been to!

Glansevern Hall Gardens has still got it, with new life and energy from new local owners. Free to wander the grounds. Lovely cafe. Great antique shop. (and masses of wild garlic for homemade pesto) 🍝

Spot of shinrin yoku (aka tree bathing) in the peaceful oaky knoll at the top of our hill. Happy grey.
