If you are new here, we thought it was time to introduce ourselves.
We’re Karen and Darren, the people behind Helmsley Meadows, and of course Cody our four legged member of the team.
Darren is hot tub butler, head of maintenance and general fixer of things. Karen is the one behind the scenes keeping everything running and Cody is of course head of security and meet and greet.
Before all this, I was a Primary school teacher and Darren worked in the pensions industry. These days life looks a little different.
We had a dream of creating somewhere people could escape to the countryside and just slow down for a while. Six years on our dream is now a reality.
It’s lovely to see so many new faces here, so please tell us.. have you visited Helmsley before, or are you discovering this little corner of North Yorkshire for the first time?
