Hello

It's Halloween so there really should be a Ghost on my page. Here's a few of my favourites from over the years. Thanks to all who have rehomed a few of these wee chaps over the years, they are my favourite things I made. Sorry there hasn't been a new one this season, perhaps they'll be back next year.

I haven't really been making anything this year, a mixture of reasons really. I hope to try and get a few bits made for Christmas and I'll maybe see you at a market soon.

There's a few Ghosts on the website that I should have told you about earlier!

Thanks very much to everyone who called into the Market Yard in Magherafelt on Saturday. Thanks to those who stopped to have a look, a chat or even take a piece of pottery home, I really do appreciate it. The Market returns on 21st November.

It's great to have a market so close to home, plus it's an added bonus when friends pop in to say hi!

I've said it before, but it's great for the town to see the Market Yard opened up again. I'm so hopeful that the planned developments can make it a central hub for the town again, these events are a glimpse into what might be the future.

Hello

I've been MIA on here and in the pottery over the summer, but both the pots and I will come out of hibernation on Saturday!

I'll be in Magherafelt Market Yard on Saturday from 11am - 4pm with a whole host of artists, makers, bakers and food stalls. We'd love to see you there.

How are you enjoying the sunshine? The Titanic Hotel was looking spectacular today, although it was a tad warm under those skylights.

Thanks to all who called into Fineanddandymarket , highlights of the day included a conversation about mince pies and cutlery (it was bonkers !) and a mug headed for the Virgin Islands.

Thanks to Kellie for all her organising and the Titanic Hotel Belfast staff for looking after us. Special mention to Maryellen Byrne for the loan of her little fan, it saved the day!

I had a lovely day at the Market Yard in Magherafelt on Saturday, even the sunshine appeared!

Thanks to all who stopped to chat and to those who have a new piece of pottery away home with them, I really appreciate it.

The market will return to Magherafelt 5th September, we hope to see you there.

Thanks to Shauna and her team for their organisation and bringing this market to town, people seem to be really enjoying visiting.

Market Yard, Magherafelt

Saturday 11-4

Delighted to be back with NNCG in the Market Yard in Magherafelt again.

Come along and meet your local bakers, makers and artists, we'd love to show you what we do.

There's a few new pots and mugs out of the kiln today. They had an extra partial run in the kiln, I had started the firing on Wednesday evening, then the wind picked up and as usual our power went out knocking off the kiln. Think it went to around 300°c but I left it until the morning to start again. All grand in the end!

My Peony gifted me with these beauties. I'm absolutely delighted with them! It's been in the garden for years but never more than a few buds which never really bloom.
Hope you are surviving the hot weather. For once my pottery is actually a pleasant place to be, it's always so much cooler than outside! I'll be over there glazing a few things for Fineanddandymarket in St Columbs Derry this Saturday.
