A perfect place away from the hustle & bustle of regular life for an organic eco friendly family hol Middle Coombe Farm is a 400 acre rustic estate.

Our beautiful 16/17th century cob & thatch farmhouse, listed grade 2*, is in its own valley. Situated just 15 minutes from Tiverton Parkway train station & the same from junction 27. Middle Coombe Farm is surrounded by 200 acres of organic farmland (where we raise our organic beef cattle) and 200 acres of mixed woodland. The rural estate & accommodation are available for rent throughout the year.

With the garden facing west, we’re often treated to glorious sunsets as we make our way down to the pool. It’s still hot enough to be warm into the evening.

This sunset filled us with joy - and the promise of a peaceful day tomorrow.
We are fortunate to see the changing weather every day, but it’s often the simple moments that remind us how lucky we are.

The light was just perfect.

Warm autumn sunshine was flooding into the farmhouse as got everything ready for the next set of guests – filling every room with a beautiful golden glow.

And of course, Pippa knew where to sit for the best sunshine!

We had a real treat last week as a Hummingbird Hawk Moth visited! 🌸

We were completely spellbound watching this little beauty zipping around our Everlasting Sweet Peas.

We’re really keen to make sure our new garden guest is well looked after! Luckily, our beds are already packed with a few of their favourite tipples, including honeysuckle, jasmine, and buddleia – perfect while it spends some time with us.

☀️ We've been lucky to have our son visiting recently. Before heading back across the world to New Zealand, he captured this moment to carry a piece of Middle Coombe back with him - a gentle reminder of just how magical this place is, no matter how far away you wander.

The valley is glowing right now, the forest canopy is lush and full, and the pool is as inviting as ever.

We have some rather wonderful news to share!

We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded a 4* rating AGAIN by VisitEngland . We are always especially chuffed to receive this. As many of you know, caring for a historic listed property is a real labour of love, and it often means we are quite limited in the physical changes we can make.
