Wowsers! That was a fab festi and Team Rusty did our little bit working in the KidZone where there were lots of excited kids and lots of frazzled parents/guardians 😂😂

Anyway we are back in camping mode now as getting ready to open for what looks like another fab weekend THIS WEEKEND 26th/27th JUNE🌞🌞🌞🌞

Team Rusty Nikki: On all my travels I’ve always loved a book exchange so when I knew there was space in our charging hut we had to have one!

I love seeing adults and kids having a nose and a read and I love that my love of reading has rubbed off on our kids too!

We had so much fun last night hosting 1st Godshill and Rookley Scouts for a great evening of rounders and all round fresh air fun!

The sun may have gone into hiding but the laughter and play was as strong as ever!

Rusty Meadow is part of Rusty Rails Farm CIC and it’s an absolute joy for us to support our community using our wonderful meadow space.

When it’s not in camping mode, we have the most amazing outdoor activity space! It was great to see it being enjoy by our local scout troop!

So we love 🐝 and all the little creatures that the earth needs to keep us all ticking along.

We also love lavender and yesterday my lavender bushes in the entrance barrels were alive with bumble bees and all sorts of other hungry dudes!

It was so good to see I just stood there watching them and filming them just doing their thing!

For those of you who have visited you will have noticed our ‘no access to campers’ rewilding area .

It’s a little project we are working on quietly in the background to make use of a space that is no suitable for grazing or camping and is home to 🐇🦊🦡 and all sorts of other inhabitants and we refer to this as Rusty Hollow.

We are slowly planting it out with 🐝🦋🐿️ and anyone else who wants to visit.

This was one of my little bees yesterday on my very vibrant looking lavender!

Sometimes in amongst all the chaos of life it’s watching a little bee, hanging out in your lavender that brings the biggest smile to your face knowing that’s exactly what you hoped to see when you planted the tiny plant last year! 🥰
