If you’re 7 years old or 70 years old, taking that first lesson can open the door to new experiences, shared laughter, and a community that cheers you on every step of the way.

The friendships formed in music often last a lifetime, and there's something truly special about creating music alongside others.

We’ve seen beginners become performers, strangers become friends, and families discover a shared passion through music (we’ve seen it all).

What instrument has changed your life, or what would you love to learn?

Tell us in the comments and let's inspire each other.

‼️ Music Teacher Dos & Don’ts 🎶

DON’T:
Be surprised when a 5-minute saxophone lesson turns into a 20-minute conversation about dinosaurs, football, or why the flute is the best instrument… during a saxophone lesson. 🤦🏻‍♀️

DON’T:
Underestimate the power of a sticker, a high-five, or a simple “well done.”

DON’T:
Forget to remind students how far they’ve come.

DON’T:
Be surprised when sharing your love of music becomes contagious.

DON’T:
Forget that every musician started as a beginner.

DO:
✨ Encourage curiosity.
Make learning enjoyable.
Focus on what students can do.
Share your love of music.
Celebrate progress, every step of the way.

The best music teachers do more than teach notes and rhythm. They build confidence, create opportunities, and inspire a lifelong love of music.

That alone deserves a round of applause. 👏🎶

Tag a music teacher who’s made a difference in your life. We’d love to celebrate them with you. 🧡

Learning an instrument creates an outlet for emotions. It turns stress, frustration, and overwhelm into creativity and self-expression.

A few moments after playing an instrument (it’s that instant) clears your mind, improves focus, and brings a sense of calm, especially after a hectic day. It’s one of the best ways to switch off, a proper reset, and bring you back to your self.

So, go ahead, express yourself! Try a new instrument. You’re never too old to start.

We see every day how music reconnects people with themselves through sound, rhythm, and creativity (some even use it as a somatic tool).

Learning an instrument and experiencing your own progress is dopamine!

If you’re unsure where/how to start, reach out anytime. We’re here to help.

P.S. Scroll all the way through. Let us know which one is your favourite. One of us preferred image 4. The other preferred image 5. Another team member liked them all! 🫣😂 Let us know which one you like most. 💟

Manifesting more summer gigs, more live music, and more moments where the music becomes this spark, this moment (THAT moment) where everyone is feeling it together (on stage and in the crowd).

Manifesting less doubting myself, less overthinking, and more trusting that doing what I love means something to me and everyone that listens to me play.

🩷 Manifesting getting paid for the ONE thing that I love more than anything in this world: playing music!

That’s what we’re about too (that’s why we get it).

💟 We’re about helping people learn, play, perform, and fall in love with music, without it being out of reach (in budget and easy to do at any age).

Affordable, accessible music for all means more opportunities, more confidence, more creativity, and more community.

Here’s to a summer filled with music, growth, and saying yes to ourselves a little more often. ✨

If you’d like to find out more, reach out anytime.

We’d love to meet you and help you reach your 2026 music goals!

It’s why we keep doing all we can to make playing an instrument accessible to everyone.

We want everyone to experience all of those incredible benefits… and more.

We thought long and hard about how to get you ready for this Bank Holiday weekend and this glorious summer weather coming our way (not to mention all the music festivals too). So, we made an executive decision.

📣 There’s no better way to achieve ALL THAT than this clip featuring .

Making music shouldn’t cost the planet, and with instruments for hire, it doesn’t have to!

Music has always been about passing things on: songs, stories, skills, inspiration. So, why should instruments be any different? 🤔

Choosing to rent/hire an instrument versus buying brand new reduces waste and helps instruments stay in use for longer.

It means fewer instruments manufactured, shipped, and thrown away. It also supports a repair-over-replace mindset, giving instruments a longer life versus letting them end up forgotten or sent to a landfill (so many instruments in landfills 😳).

There’s so much research out there about this, and they all say the same thing. Hiring versus buying will reduce emissions by up to 30% by 2030. So, if more people choose to reuse, repair, and share then those choices add up!

Personally, our team love knowing that an instrument can move from one musician to the next. Think about it. That means it goes from someone with their first lesson (remember that joy you felt when you first played? 🥰) to rehearsals, gigs, school concerts, and everything in between.

Still buzzing watching back the celebrations for Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday. 🌍

The orchestra was phenomenal. Every note carried the beauty, fragility, and wonder of the natural world. Yes! This couldn’t be possible without every musician there to make this happen. It also goes without saying: Dan Smith from Bastille was absolutely incredible!

The way music tells a story without saying a word will never stop to amaze us. 🎶
