Are you a history buff? 🏰

One of the things our guests love about staying at Little Lynstead is being so close to some incredible local history. We’re just a 10-minute stroll from the magnificent Walmer Castle, built by Henry VIII in the 1540s, and only a little further from the equally fascinating Deal Castle.

This post caught our eye and reminded us how lucky we are to have such remarkable places on our doorstep.

Whether you’re passionate about castles, coastal history, beautiful gardens, or simply exploring somewhere new, Walmer and Deal make a wonderful weekend break.
