🎷 **Jazz on a Summer’s Evening** 🎷

The **Henrik Jensen Trio** bring an elegant and expressive evening of contemporary jazz, where melody, improvisation and deep musical interplay come together.

Danish bassist and composer **Henrik Jensen**, now based in Frome, leads the trio with **Esben Tjalve on piano**, whose lyrical and atmospheric playing adds colour and depth, and **Dave Smith on drums**, renowned for his work with Robert Plant as well as his adventurous work across the jazz scene.

Their 2024 album *Above Your House* showcases Jensen's thoughtful compositions and the trio's remarkable chemistry—music that moves effortlessly between intimate, melodic passages and more dynamic moments of improvisation.

Expect beautiful melodies, subtle grooves and spontaneous musical conversations. A perfect evening for anyone who enjoys jazz that is expressive, adventurous and full of atmosphere.

This month we’re bringing you a Northern Soul Special! Get your dancing shoes ready — dancing is essential! 🎶

⚽️ Saturday — Live Sport
We’ll have plenty of sporting action showing across our screens, so grab a drink and settle in.

🍽️ Sunday — ROAST DINNERS ARE BACK!

Good morning! ⚽️🎯

Tonight we officially open the doors to our NEW Sports Bar! 🍻

Expect live sport on the big screen, darts, games and plenty of fun. This is very much a work in progress, but our aim is to grow it into a really special space to watch live sport, enjoy a few drinks and play some games with friends.

We’re opening from 5pm tonight, the bar will be stocked, the arrows are ready to fly and we’ll be showing Crystal Palace v Manchester City LIVE! ⚽️

Come down, check it out and help us get this new space off the ground.
