🎃 CALLING ALL YORK HOUSE HOLIDAY HOME COMMUNITY 🎃

Let's turn York House into our very own Halloween village!
We're getting into the Halloween spirit, and we'd love all our holiday home residents to join in the fun and help make the park look spectacular!

👻 THE GREAT YORK HOUSE PORCH DECORATING COMPETITION!
Get creative, dress up your porch, add some pumpkins, cobwebs, spooky lights or whatever takes your fancy!
Whether you go full haunted house or just add a little autumn magic, it's all about joining in and creating a fantastic village atmosphere across the park.

🎃 PUMPKINS FOR JUST £1!
Pop down to the front lawn and pick up a pumpkin for £1 to add to your display. Let's see how many we can get glowing around York House!

🍬 LITTLE GHOSTS & GHOULS ABOUT!
We've got children on the park getting dressed up and heading out trick or treating, so we'd love our holiday home owners to get involved.
If you're happy to welcome our little trick-or-treaters, have a few sweets ready. Or, if you're heading out, why not leave a bucket of treats as part of your porch display?
It's these little touches that make York House feel like a proper community.

🥂 JOIN US ON THE 31ST FOR A HALLOWEEN GET-TOGETHER!
🕔 5PM – 7PM
Come along for our social gathering, catch up with your York House neighbours, admire the decorations and enjoy a bit of Halloween fun together.
You don't need to have the spookiest porch or the biggest display. It's the taking part, the laughter and seeing the whole park come together that makes it special.

🎃 Let's make York House a Halloween village to remember!
From all the team at York House Caravan Park 🍂

Morning all
⚠️quick update while Storm Boelo is still going strong.

It’s expected to stay fierce through the morning and into the afternoon before gradually easing later in the day. Met Office warnings are in place until 9pm.

‘While the worst of Saturday’s weather was felt in areas covered by the warnings, heavy and persistent rain has affected larger parts of the UK. Spray and surface water could make driving conditions hazardous, and further downpours increase the risk of localised flooding. Strong winds are forecast to continue into today, although the rain should gradually ease across most of the country’

For those planning their day – high-sided vehicles are especially vulnerable in these conditions, and there have been some flash-flood / standing-water issues on local roads overnight.

Checkout is 11am–12 noon.
Hearty breakfast is available in the cafe bar until 11.30 if you’d rather stay dry, warm and fed rather than venturing out, or before you leave, weather permitting.

You can check the latest Met Office forecast for the area here and plan accordingly: https://weather.metoffice.gov.uk/forecast/gcxtfnft4

🍂 FULLY BOOKED AGAIN THIS WEEKEND AT YORK HOUSE! 🍂

A big warm welcome to everyone joining us at York House Caravan Park this weekend!

We're fully booked once again, and it's lovely to see the park buzzing with guests enjoying an autumn escape on the Yorkshire coast.

🍽️ & Bar are OPEN!

Whether you fancy a bite to eat, a well-earned drink or somewhere warm and cosy to escape the autumn chill, we'd love to see you.

💨 A little heads-up about the weather!

The Yorkshire coast is certainly showing off its wild side, with some strong winds howling through overnight!

Please make sure your awnings, windbreaks, outdoor furniture and anything else that might fancy taking flight are safely secured or packed away before bedtime.

🌙 The evenings are drawing in too, with darkness falling around 7pm, so it's worth getting yourselves settled before the light disappears.

Or better still, head over to the York House bar, where it's warm, welcoming and the wind can't steal your drink!

Most importantly, wrap up warm, stay safe and enjoy your weekend with us.

A bit of wind never stopped a Yorkshire getaway!
