⚡ PAY AS YOU GO – Electric Hook-Up Reminder ⚡
If you're only charging a laptop, iPhone, or a couple of gadgets, you'll probably be pleasantly surprised at how little electricity you actually use. A few amps here and there and you're golden.
However, if you've brought all the toys and mod cons, air fryers, electric heaters, gaming consoles, a full Sunday roast setup, and enough equipment to power the Starship Enterprise – you may be a little less pleasantly surprised at how quickly those units disappear! Consumption will vary depending on the power requirements of your appliances.
How the Electric Cards Work
* Electric hook-ups operate on a *PAY AS YOU GO* basis.
* Cards are available from Reception (9am–5pm) or the Café Bar.
* Cards can be purchased in denominations of £1, £5, £10 or £20.
* Please buy only what you need, as *UNSUSED CREDIT/CARDS ARE NON REFUNDABLE.*
Topping Up Your Pitch
1. Find the electric post nearest to your pitch.
2. Locate the slot corresponding to your pitch number.
3. Insert your card until it clicks.
4. Wait for the balance to load.
5. Plug in and check that one of your appliances is working.
6. Remove the card and dispose of it.
A quick tip: unlike a lovely couple yesterday, don't leave your air bed plugged in while you head off to the bar for a drink before setting it up!
That said, by the time they returned, the bed was fully inflated and ready for the night.
