The harbour looks so beautiful with the abbey all lit up.

It doesn’t matter where we go in the World, everyone who ever asks where we come from always say the same thing when we tell them “Whitby”…

…they always say…

“Oh, we love Whitby”!

It really is a special place that means a lot to so many people who have visited our little town ❤️❤️❤️

With less than a week to go til we’re still seeing loads of people asking for accommodation 🧛‍♂️🧛‍♀️🧛

Our only advice is to get proactive and book your accommodation for 2027 at Spyglass 1708 before it’s gone ❤️❤️

We usually sell a year in advance as to most of the good holiday accommodation operators 🥳🥳

Well, for the 320th year in a row, here at Spyglass 1708 we’ve survived another nasty storm in Yorkshire

Built by the Walker family of Whitby when Queen Ann was sitting on the throne of England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

We’ve seen a lot of weather, wars, troubles and good times too!

Some guests leave the place and you’d hardly know they’d been.

Other guests require a full carpet cleaning after spilling bottles of red w**e and you need to replace towels and toilet rolls because they’ve pinched them!

It’s a bit of a lottery 😂
